Erik has been providing evidence-based consulting and strategic market research to clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries for over 15 years.
As a seasoned researcher, consultant, and advisor, Erik's focus areas include market landscape assessment, product demand and opportunity evaluation, patient journey, customer segmentation, and pre-launch communications platform development.
Over the years, Erik has designed and executed hundreds of consulting and market research engagements. Frequently combining secondary data analysis with qualitative and/or quantitative primary research, these studies have included insights from providers, patients, and payers in the US as well as established and emerging global markets.
While his projects have spanned a wide range of therapeutic areas, Erik's recent work has focused on three main areas: CNS (including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and migraine), autoimmune diseases (including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and plaque psoriasis) and pain management (including neuropathic pain, osteoarthritis, and chronic low back pain).
Prior to Healthcare Strategy Partners, Erik was a Principal in the Consulting Services Group at IQVIA and Sr. Director of Research Services at MedPanel, Inc.
Erik holds an MPH with concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Boston University School of Public Health and a BA in Biology from Brandeis University.
