Jeff has over 30 years of experience in market research for healthcare products. He has completed hundreds of successful new product and in-market category studies with physicians, patients, and payers on a global basis. Jeff is particularly skilled in studies utilizing advanced methodologies and modeling to address new product crafting, positioning, segmentation, pricing, and forecasting.
This body of work has covered three major areas: market research that is strategic and thought-leading in nature; studies that are part of a larger consulting engagement; and projects that are free-standing and problem-solving in their focus. As such, Jeff has launched numerous blockbusters, as well as guided many brand teams through the various stages of the product lifecycle.
His product experience includes work in virtually every market. A partial list would be: allergic rhinitis, Alzheimer’s, asthma, cardiovascular disease, cholesterol, COPD, cosmeceuticals, depression/anxiety/bipolar, diabetes, epilepsy, eye care, gastrointestinal disorders, growth hormones, HIV, infections, migraine, MS, obsessive-compulsive disorder, oncology, osteoporosis, overactive bladder, pain, rare diseases, respiratory, schizophrenia, sleep, smoking cessation, and men’s and women’s health.
Prior to Healthcare Strategy Partners, Jeff founded JW Research Group and Olitzky Whittle; private companies that excelled at providing elite quantitative healthcare market research for clients on a worldwide basis for the past 20 years. Jeff is also a past Group President, North America for NFO WorldGroup. Jeff was responsible for a portfolio of companies in the healthcare, e-commerce, financial services, information technology, telecommunication, and travel and leisure markets. He was also President of Migliara/Kaplan Associates, one of the largest custom healthcare market research companies in the world.
